It doesn't happen often, but from time to time we are able to crown one of the officers with the coveted "Hoosier" award. After escaping the award (usually because someone trumped him before we could put it up) Captain Derek Belcher finally...did it! The day was crisp when the tones dropped for a possible chimney fire. Derek proceeded to the station and was the first to arrive. After suting up, he climbed into the truck, careful not to step on the AIRLINE and started the truck. He then proceeded to mark enroute to the call. With everone on board he put it in drive and heard the thud of the line, still attached to the truck, being ripped off the wall.
